Virgin Holidays worldwide journeys launches 2013/14 brochure

The latest Worldwide Journeys brochure launches on 6th September, offering a collection of tours across a range of countries and destinations - from the Pyramids and Temples of Egypt to the Rocky Mountains of Vancouver. Within the new collection for 2013/14 there are a total of 51 small escorted and private tours, 27 new tours featuring five new destinations for the first time.

From 23 August to 06 September, all customers who book their holiday at a Virgin Holidays retail store will receive a 10% early booking discount and a case of wine. This 10% early booking discount will continue when the brochure officially launches on 6th September.*

Susan Rock, Worldwide Journeys Product Manager commented; “The beauty of a tour is being able to take in a diverse and thriving mix of cultures, sights and experiences. With 27 new tours, travellers can enjoy the wonders of the world, taking in all sorts of experiences from cruising to safaris, whilst ticking the boxes on that ‘must see’ list.”

Touring Explained
Ideal for first time visitors, escorted tours are a great way to experience a destination with the benefit of an expert guide offering informative commentary, amidst some of the world’s most spectacular sights. For repeat visitors, escorted touring provides a chance to journey off the beaten track.  Each of the tours featured in the new brochure includes a guide, varied sightseeing, return scheduled flights, accommodation and meals as detailed in each of the tour itineraries. The new brochure offers fully escorted Group tours, with a maximum number of 25 people on any one departure. There are many tours suitable for those who are ‘new to touring’ as well as a variety of pre-set extension recommendations for those who want to tailor-make their experience.
