Virgin Holidays turns heads in Trafalgar Square

Virgin Holidays announced its January sale with a bang earlier, with an attempt to break the world record for the largest burlesque dance in London’s Trafalgar Square.

A group of dancers braved the cold weather in order to take to the steps of the National Gallery for a five minute routine.

Composed of Virgin Holidays employees and assorted enthusiasts, the group was led by 24-year-old burlesque dancer Kimberley Dunne, who performs under the stage name Kimberley Holladay.

Over 100 strong, the scantily-clad troupe attracted the gaze of onlookers during the performance.

“Launch impressed us with fun and cheeky ideas that fitted our brand – and a promise to deliver on a short timescale.”
