VIP Attractions launches luxury lounges for Jamaica travellers

VIP Attractions has launched two outlets offering luxury airport services for travellers to Jamaica: Club Kingston and Club MoBay.

These airport experiences offer travellers access to VIP lounges while at the airport, similar to American Airlines’ Admiral’s Club.

The lounge has a business centre, complimentary drinks and snacks, a spa, shower facilities, television and more.

For international arrivals, the experience includes a greeter at the jet bridge who guides travellers through the immigration and customs process.

There are four ways to access the experience.

First is through annual subscription, which would be most appealing to locals.

Second is by flying through partner airlines, such as Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Air Jamaica, Caribbean Airways, and Air Berlin. First class passengers on these flights are automatically entitled to the service.

Travellers who are part of Airport Angels or Priority Pass can use the lounge, as well.

And finally a fourth way is to purchase a $30 ticket, which travel agents can do via hotels or tour operators.

There is a $5 commission on tickets.

World Travel Awards

The opening is just the latest in a series of developments in Jamaica which have continued to set the destination apart from its rivals in the Caribbean.

This dedication to excellent is set to be recognised later this month with the arrival of World Travel Awards.

The prestigious Caribbean & The Americas Gala Ceremony will be hosted by Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, on October 19th.
