Vincenz appointed chief executive of Graubünden Tourism

Martin Vincenz has been appointed the new chief executive of Graubünden Tourism.

The board of the Swiss canton’s marketing organisation has chosen the 53 year-old from Graubünden as the new head of Switzerland’s largest tourism region.

Vincenz is a marketing and communications professional with many years of experience in the development of product and project-oriented organisations.

Marcel Friberg, president of Graubünden Tourism, said: “Martin Vincenz is exactly right for the challenges that await the tourism industry.”

Vincenz has worked as head of corporate communications at the Cantonal Hospital in Graubünden since 2008, however he also brings tourism know-how with him.

Between 1992 and 2000 he was deputy director every four years at Graubünden Tourism and tourism director of A-ROSA.

From 2000 to 2007 Vincenz was co-owner and director of the communications agency dettofatto in Chur.

He has additionally headed the Arosa Comedy Festival for ten years.
