Vibe is furthering its partnership with Capita Travel & Events, a UK specialist in travel, meetings and event management.

The partnership will continue to strengthen Capita Travel & Events existing investment in its travel technology platform, iris, benefiting from Vibe’s industry-leading travel technology booking platform, better serving organisations with smarter travel, meetings and events.

The pair have been working together to integrate Vibe into its evolving iris travel technology platform for smarter business travel.

By working with Vibe, Capita Travel & Events customers have access to Vibe’s seamless, reliable and efficient booking technology, which has been designed specifically for the travel industry.

This partnership also addresses the growing issues surrounding third parties using a GDS to buy and sell air travel; Vibe has the ability to aggregate IATA’s NDC Standard, enabling Capita Travel & Events to customise its service offering to customers.

Capita Travel & Events customers will benefit from features including profile management API, distance-based searching, searching corporate office locations for hotels, multiple passenger searching, CO2 carbon footprint reporting, last seat availability, savings calculation and reporting, seat maps, branded fares and hotel chain searching.
