Sixt and its US Franchise Unit have announced the signing of multiple franchise agreements with VERC Car Rental. 

VERC Car Rental will convert their existing locations in Massachusetts to Sixt franchises, open a new Sixt franchise to service Boston-Logan International Airport, as well as open additional franchise locations in Suffolk County.

Sixt is actively seeking growth-oriented franchisees in an initiative to expand its franchise network into the US, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America as part of its effort to further internationalise the group’s business.

“We are extremely pleased to have VERC Car Rental join the Sixt franchise system,” said Craig Olson, executive vice president of North America franchise development for Sixt. 

“VERC’s existing network in the South Shore area, and their desire to expand into to the Boston area, will help establish a strong presence for Sixt in the Northeast US.”

“VERC is a family-run business like Sixt and has been serving rental car customers since 1979.

“We look forward to helping them take their business to the next level.”

Independent car rental operators, car dealership owners, and entrepreneurs are great candidates for Sixt franchises. 

Sixt will be actively recruiting new franchisees at next week’s Car Rental Show in Las Vegas. 

Additional franchise locations will be opening throughout the year, and Sixt will continue to add new franchisees to facilitate its growth in US and international markets.

The Sixt franchise system is a proven international success, with more than 80 master franchisees operating from nearly 1,100 worldwide locations.
