The Upper House has become the first hotel in Hong Kong to launch a guest check-in service using the sleek new iPad.

A member of the hotel’s Guest Experience team escorts visitors to their room with the iPad in hand and guides them through the registration process.

The Upper House is already well known for its paperless arrival and departure experience.

The iPad is also available upon request for guests to use within the hotel during their stay. It offers multiple features including up to date information about the hotel and things to do in the surrounding areas.

The hotel’s Guest Experience team currently provides concierge, guest relations, bell and cashiering services at any location throughout the hotel using portable PCs.

The iPad is a welcome addition to this unique style of service at The Upper House and offers a stylish, practical and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional services seen at other hotels.

The property also features the iPod-touch in each of the 117 guestrooms and suites, offering a comprehensive source of House information, room service, games, music, local area information, weather, news and feedback forms at the touch of a screen, replacing printed hotel directories.

The Upper House is aware of the importance in keeping guests connected and provides complimentary wireless high speed internet in all guestrooms and public areas which is ideal for business and leisure travellers on the move.
