U.S. Travel Association reveals latest findings at AIBTM in Baltimore

The U.S. Travel Association is to present an update on its next steps for the Corporation for Travel Promotion at the inaugural AIBTM Education Day taking place on June 21st.  Part of the Americas Meetings and Events Exhibition that runs through to June 23rd in Baltimore, Castleman will also speak on the efforts of the Discover America Partnership, a consortium of some three dozen companies and associations led by U.S. Travel to improve U.S. visa policy around the world, and especially in the potentially lucrative markets of Brazil, China and India.

The AIBTM Professional Education program dedicated to a day of workshops, conferences and forums has been specifically designed to provide the industry with some of the very latest updates on key strategic industry issues.

Dennis Castleman, Vice President Industry Relations will provide a brief update on expected next steps for the Corporation for Travel Promotion with the recent hiring of Jim Evans as Chief Executive Officer.  The CTP is a public-private partnership whose mission is to promote the United States as a destination to international travelers around the world.

The U.S. Travel Association is the national, non-profit organization representing all components of the travel industry that generates $1.8 trillion in economic output and supports 14.1 million jobs. U.S. Travel’s mission is to increase travel to and within the United States.
