The results are in for the great Holiday Extras TUI incentive and now the top performing travel agents have enjoyed a night out at the Brit Awards 2012 or a day at the Six Nations Rugby.

The top bookers for hotels, who won a place at the Brits, included Laura Patterson at the Pontefract store, whose Holiday Extras bookings rose year on year by a massive 1108%. And Matt Hartrop from the Coventry call centre, who achieved a personal best of 53 hotel bookings.

The TUI top bookers for airport parking all went for a jolly at the rugby match between England and Wales at Twickenham. Six TUI champions attended the match. Altogether TUI group had increased their year on year airport parking bookings by an amazing 77%.

Rebekah England, Partnerships Development Manager for Holiday Extras, who organised the TUI prize incentive, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled with the massive upturn in bookings that these agents have achieved. The feedback that we received from participating agents was that it wasn’t difficult to sell in the hotels and parking. These were services that their customers were going to purchase so if they hadn’t made the sale – someone else would have.”

Matt Hartrop, who was treated by Holidays Extras to a real taste of stardom at The Brit Awards and after party, added: “The O2 was packed to capacity - it was buzzing and everywhere I turned there were familiar faces from Adele to Jessie J, Blur to Ed Sheeran - rather than be star struck, we just mingled and took in the amazing atmosphere, it was unbelievable”
