TripAdvisor recognises Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia, has announced it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which honours top-rated lodging businesses, restaurants and attractions.

To qualify, these businesses must maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor.

Additional criteria include volume of reviews and how recently they have been submitted by TripAdvisor travellers.

The accolade is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.

In the former Royal Khmer compound, Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is a stunning heritage property. 

Original Art Deco features blend seamlessly with modern comfort.  Originally opened in 1932, it was reopened in 1997 as a member of the Raffles Hotels & Resorts family. 

The hotel’s staterooms are currently undergoing an inspirational refurbishment and the two large private garden villas are being transformed and upgraded. 

The work will be completed between September and November 2011.
