Travelzoo had been recognised as the World’s Leading Travel Deals Website at the 20th annual World Travel Awards Grand Final in Doha, Qatar.
The World Travel Awards, established in 1983, are regarded globally as the highest accolade in the travel industry and have been called the “travel industry’s equivalent of the Oscars” by the Wall Street Journal.
Consumers and over 200,000 travel industry professionals cast their votes online to select the winners.
Travelzoo won the World’s Leading Travel Deals Website, ahead of brands such as LivingSocial, Groupon Getaways and lastminute.com.
