Travelzoo appoints Tracey Cheffey as UK Executive Producer

Cheffey joins Travelzoo® from Yahoo! UK where she was category director, travel and responsible for all travel revenue across Yahoo!‘s UK business. Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2007 Cheffey served as head of travel, Sky Text at British Sky Broadcasting. A seasoned industry speaker and thought leader, she has also served as a judge for many travel awards including the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMTIG), The British Travel Awards, Agent Achievement Awards, The Travel Writers Awards and has spoken about online marketing at various trade events including World Travel Market & The Travel Technology Show.

Cheffey’s move follows the appointment of Simon Ferguson who left his position as chief executive of the TW Group to join this week as general manager of Travelzoo’s Destinations and Network businesses in the UK.
