Travelport has announced a multi-year global distribution system deal with Al Badie Travel Agency – one of the most respected travel companies in Abu Dhabi.
The new contract is a testament to Al Badie Travel Agency’s confidence in Travelport’s innovative product offering and unrivalled customer service, as the agency looks to increase its bookings through Travelport’s Worldspan distribution platform.
Under the new agreement, Al Badie Travel Agency will, for the first time, gain access to Travelport’s Smartpoint App - a leading-edge search and booking tool - as well as Rapid Reprice, Travelport’s unique revenue management tool.
To ensure a smooth transition, Travelport has also carried out training for more than 30 of the travel agency’s staff.

The signing of Al Badie Travel Agency, which was first established in 1977 as part of the reputable Al Badie Group, is the latest milestone in Travelport’s continued growth in the UAE.
It follows a number of other notable signings in the recent months including a renewed deal with Al-Futtaim Travel, Shams Abu Dhabi Travel and SNTTA – some of the most reputed travel management companies in the region.
