Travelport has announced a new, multi-year global content agreement with Austrian Airlines.
Through the new agreement, the business services provider will offer all Galileo and Worldspan travel agency customers access to the airline’s fares.
“We are delighted to have signed this agreement with Austrian Airlines and to be able to guarantee full content without a surcharge for bookings by all of our travel agency customers,” said Robin Ranken, head of airline relationships for Europe at Travelport.
“We continue to work successfully with our airline partners to reach agreements that work for both the airline and ourselves as well as our shared travel agency customers.”
The new, long-term agreement represents a continuation of Travelport’s strategy of securing full content programmes with airlines across the globe.
Christina Debbah, vice president global sales and distribution for Austrian Airlines commented: “We are pleased to renew our successful relationship with Travelport by signing this agreement.
“Travel agencies using the Galileo and Worldspan platforms provide an important distribution channel for the sale of Austrian Airlines fares and we look forward to working closely with Travelport over the coming years.”
