Travelex is offering another convenient way for North American travellers to purchase currency prior to traveling abroad. In addition to Travelex’s home delivery option when ordering online, globetrotters can now opt to pick-up their travel money from selected Travelex stores in over 100 convenient US locations, including most major airports.

“With nearly 200 stores in the United States and counting, we’re expanding our Travelex network to make the travel planning process as easy as possible for our customers,” said Jon Dario, president of Travelex Currency Services Inc. “We want travelers to have options, particularly when they are piecing together the final components of their trip.”

Customers who choose the store pick-up option when placing their order online have the advantage of accessing Travelex’s competitive online prices on foreign currency as well as the company’s Online Price Promise, which promises the lowest price on foreign currency or Travelex will refund the difference. In-store pick-up is now available at all of Travelex’s walk-in stores and most major airports, including JFK International Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport and San Francisco International Airport. Orders placed online will be ready upon the travelers’ arrival to the store. Pick-up fees range from $0 to $9.99, depending on the location.
