Travel Indochina appoints Manda Churchill

Leading Asia specialist, Travel Indochina, has announced the appointment of Manda Churchill to the position of general manager in the UK.

With immediate effect, Manda will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the UK division, increasing the overall business sales and profit targets, and overseeing the sales and marketing teams of the specialist tour operator.

Manda brings over 25 years’ experience in the travel trade and extensive knowledge of the UK market to her new role.

She has joined Travel Indochina from Barrhead Travel, where she was a Cruise Business Consultant and introduced a number of new initiatives to help increase the overall cruise business and profit margins for the Scottish travel agent.

Previously, Manda was Commercial Director for 1st4Cruising and, prior to that, she worked at TUI Travel PLC (Thomson & First Choice) for just under ten years, delivering impressive results in both roles.

Testament to her expertise in the travel industry, Manda has held additional positions at Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Windstar Cruises, Unijet Holidays, Flights Coaches and Darby Travel, throughout the course of her career.

Churchill explained: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Travel Indochina. I have always admired their product and I am excited by the future growth opportunities for the business.”

Manda will report directly to Travel Indochina’s co-founder and Managing Director, Paul Hole.
