Trainline offers Apple Pay to Italian customers

Trainline is offering its customers in Italy Apple Pay, which is transforming mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay that’s fast and convenient.

The independent rail retailer and train travel app is the first platform in Italy to allow this payment method for train travellers.

Apple Pay is available for purchases on the latest version of the Trainline app where Apple Pay can be enabled in Settings.

To buy train tickets on Trainline, both on iPhone and iPad users simply place a finger on the Touch ID sensor.
Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay.

When users select a credit card or debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device, nor Apple servers.
