TMG acquires Complete World Travel

Midland travel firm Travel Management Group (TMG) has rescued the corporate travel division of Complete World Travel after the Warwickshire based company went into administration last week.

TMG, based in Leamington Spa, has acquired the corporate travel arm of Complete World Travel, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The deal will enable TMG to further develop the UK corporate travel side of its global business.

George Dick (pictured), non-executive director of TMG, said: “We are always on the look out to acquire businesses which will fit in with ours and enable us to grow.

“We are delighted with this acquisition and see it as an opportunity to develop our business further.

“We are now contacting all of the clients of the corporate travel arm of Complete World Travel to let them know that Travel Management Group will be looking after them in the future.”

TMG is made up of five divisions – corporate, events, leisure, sport and venues – each offering a dedicated tailor-made service to clients.

Since being founded in 1986, TMG has grown from a standing start to the point where it now enjoys PLC status, has billed in excess of £0.5 billion and has 60 employees across three locations.
