Titan Airways introduces Boeing 767-300ER to fleet

Titan Airways, the London Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, has expanded its fleet with the introduction of a Boeing 767-300ER.  The new aircraft is Titan’s first wide-bodied aircraft configured with 265 seats in a 2/3/2 layout.

Registered G-POWD, the 767 arrived from Taipei in December on an eight year lease from GECAS.  The aircraft is complete in the Titan Airways’ colour scheme* with the interior finished in Titan’s signature two tone pale and charcoal grey leather and each seat boasting its own IFE screen and controller, giving a selection of visual and music channels.  The aircraft is just six years old and has the latest Boeing 777 enhanced interior, making the cabin appear lighter, brighter and more spacious.

Within a day of its arrival the 767 operated between Belfast and Malaga on behalf of Aer Lingus and again between Dublin and Arrecife over the Christmas period.  Since Christmas, the aircraft has operated to Recife in Brazil and to the Middle East and a variety of destinations throughout Africa

“We are delighted with this new addition to our fleet, enabling us to offer a larger aircraft for clients and those wishing to travel further afield,” said Alastair Kiernan, Titan Airways’ Commercial Director.  “The 767 has a phenomenal range – it can fly up to 6,000nm in around 13 hours offering clients the potential to travel from London as far as Singapore or Los Angeles non-stop.  The 767 is now the largest aircraft in the Titan fleet and is part of our ongoing strategy to bring newer generation aircraft into operation.”

As with all the Titan fleet, the 767 is available for short notice, rapid response charter and sub-charter.  Titan’s reputation is built on its unique ‘Go Now’ policy, which guarantees that any of its fleet, including the 767, can be airborne within 60 minutes of flight confirmation.  The 767 is also available for short, medium or long-term lease and ad-hoc charter.  Furthermore, as a category 3B aircraft, the 767 can operate in some of the most challenging weather conditions.
