Thistle Hotels today announces the appointment of Richard Parker as General Manager of its East Midlands Airport hotel. In this role, Richard will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff and will be responsible for raising its profile in the region and helping it become a star performer of the group.

Richard brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent over 27 years working in the hospitality industry. Previously, he has held general manager roles at Hilton Nottingham, Ramada Jarvis in Burton upon Trent and Loughborough and Choice Hotels Europe, where he managed the Quality Hotel Northampton and Comfort Hotel Nottingham.
