The Travel Show hosts join World Travel Awards in Middle East

World Travel Awards has announced Lucy Taylor and Mark Lloyd, from Dubai’s industry leading The Travel Show, will host the Middle East Gala Ceremony 2014.

Taylor and Lloyd join World Travel Awards from The Travel Show, a two-hour daily programme running on Dubai Eye 103.8FM, where they are co-hosts and producers.

The luxurious JW Marriott Marquis Dubai will welcome hospitality leaders from across the region for the event, which is scheduled for May 4th.

The Middle East Gala Ceremony is the first regional heat on the annual World Travel Awards Grand Tour, with the winners moving forward to the Grand Final later this year.

The Travel Show covers all elements of travel, tourism, hospitality, leisure and lifestyle – looking at everything from local UAE escapes and entertainment to international vacation options and attractions – with the goal of helping UAE residents make the most of both their holiday and leisure time.

Taylor and Lloyd will host an evening of spectacular entertainment for World Travel Awards, with the event welcoming leading acts from the United Arab Emirates and across the Middle East.

Lucy Taylor has previously worked across a variety of publications, specialising in current affairs, travel, and hospitality - before turning to broadcasting and joining the ARN News team in 2010.

Meanwhile, Mark Lloyd is one of the most recognisable voices on UAE radio, having worked in the industry for 23 years.

His time hosting the much-loved Entertainment Today show saw him broadcast from events such as the Oscars and the New York Film Festival and today he continues his globe-trotting on The Travel Show, presenting from destinations around the world including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
