The Trafalgar hotel launches celebrating Britain art exhibition

The Trafalgar Hotel, situated in the heart of London on Trafalgar Square, is continuing the Jubilee celebrations this month with the launch of an art exhibition within the hotel. The selection of works showcased throughout the hotel commemorates and embraces Britain and its capital city.

Opening its doors as a place to enjoy innovative works of art for both guests and members of the public, The Trafalgar has become an art gallery within a hotel. The latest exhibition displays works from artists; Susan Elliott, Dave Hacker and Steven Spencer

Beat Ganz, acting general manager, said, “We’re thrilled with the new collection of artwork and know our customers will enjoy these inspiring, fun and iconic works. We wanted to embrace the spirit of the London at this momentous time, with its history and splendour but with an added twist. The exhibition is a true celebration of Britain, here in the heart of the capital at The Trafalgar Hotel. It is not to be missed.”

Running from 11th June to 25th July, guests and members of the public can view the pieces anytime throughout the hotel including the lobby, Rockwell bar and restaurant and the meeting rooms.

The works include dark and moody cityscapes from Steven Spencer, kitsch illuminated mosaics from Susan Elliott and grainy, nineteenth century style photographs of London by Dave Hacker. Nestled among iconic London landmarks such as Big Ben and the London Eye, The Trafalgar Hotel is the perfect backdrop to display such pieces of art.
