The Dorchester hotel is taking inspiration from the most festive of fairytales this year, presenting guests with a Nutcracker-themed Christmas. Props such as the Nutcracker doll, sweets and presents from English National Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker will be found throughout The Promenade.

Christmas decorations at The Dorchester will be in place from Saturday 20 November. Opulent reds, rich bronzes and sparkling coppers will adorn The Dorchester’s renowned interiors while the festive scent of Victorian Spice will permeate throughout the hotel.

With its prime location in Mayfair, The Dorchester is perfectly situated by some of London’s best Christmas attractions including Hyde Parks’ Winter Wonderland and Sing-along Carols at The Royal Albert Hall. Even The Dorchester’s renowned Afternoon Tea will be taking on a Christmas theme with mince pies and a dedicated Christmas expert on hand to offer advice on all festive requirements.

Children visiting The Dorchester during the festive season will have Christmas cookies to decorate and hang on the children’s Christmas tree in the lobby. A dedicated Christmas expert will be on hand to assist with all family festive arrangements such as priority tickets for the Harrods’ Christmas Grotto and a Christmas wrapping service for all purchases made at Shop at The Dorchester.
