The Commissioner for Expo Milano 2015 Giuseppe Sala commented on the decree approved by the Council of Ministers as follows:

“I very much welcome the decisions reached by the Government today. I thank President Renzi and all the Ministers who have worked for the success of the Universal Expo and I accept with a strong spirit of institutional partnership the invaluable supporting role that President Cantone is about to take on. We will work with even greater energy to assure Italy an Expo 2015 that will be a source of pride before the whole world.”
