Thai Airlines is now set to introduce added in-flight facilities and plans on mesmerizing its passengers with sharp discounts for its upcoming flights to Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Vientiane, departing from London.

As part of its deal Thai airways would be offering cheap airfares for Bangkok and Phuket along with discounted airfares to Hat Yai, Koh samui, Krabi,Surat Thani, Chiang Mai, chiang Rai, Ubon Ratch thani,Khon Kaen, Yangon, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Vientiane and Hanoi.

According to the top management of Thai airlines, its discounted airfares for Thailand come as a celebration of its brand new in-flight entertainment facilities on board. Thai Airline has upgraded its economy class with personal seat back screens for passengers to enjoy at their leisure while on board.

Speaking at a press conference in London, the CEO of travelhouseuk.co.uk, Zak Chahal, commented, “We believe the two developments introduced by the airline; up gradation of its IFE facilities complemented with airfare discounts, would add to both, the airline’s likability and revenues in the near future.”

As part of this deal, Thai airways has announced that its airfares for flights to Yangon, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Vientiane and Hanoi would be reduced to as low as GBP 315 and 390, whereas tickets to various cities in Thailand would vary between GBP 256 and GBP 456.

Apart from the airline itself, a number of travel agencies dealing with the concerned Asian destinations are expecting a rise in the number of passengers willing to fly with Thai Airways as a result of its discounted fares and improved on board facilities.
