Well-known gaming and hospitality technology expert Claudia R. Winkler has joined NEWave as Senior Vice President of Professional Services. Just last month the company announced Bart A. Lewin had assumed leadership as CEO and CTO, and now Winkler’s joining the NEWave leadership team sends another signal that the company is positioning itself for revitalized growth.
In her new role, Winkler will expand NEWave’s services to include enterprise information technology strategy, IT and operational business process assessments, IT planning and comprehensive budget development, system implementation project management, requirements gap analysis and system selection, new start up and change of control IT project management, and system integration.

Named one of the “Great Women in Gaming” by Casino Enterprise Management magazine, Winkler is one of the industry’s most recognized and respected information technology experts. She has held key marketing and technology positions with the industry’s top names including Boyd Gaming, Caesars Entertainment and Stations Casinos. Among her many accomplishments was the launch of the original Harrah’s Gold Card (now Harrah’s Total Rewards), development of the requirements for corporate-wide source systems for Boyd Gaming, IT leadership role in the change of control of the Las Vegas Hiltons from Caesar’s Entertainment to Colony Capital, the opening of several new casinos in emerging markets and the successful run of her consulting business, G.H.I. Solutions, Inc. Prior to joining the NEWave team, the company had been a client of her consulting firm.
