TAP completes Terminal 2 move at London Heathrow as winter flight schedule expands

TAP, the leading airline from Portugal to the UK, has completed the move of its operations at London Heathrow to the new and improved Terminal 2.

TAP’s network of routes from London Heathrow are now all operating from the airport’s new Terminal 2 facilities, including check-in, boarding and lounges for passengers.

Check-in for TAP is in Zone D at Terminal 2 using the quick and easy self-service kiosks and fast bag-drop desks.

Full-service priority check-in desks and lounges are available for TAP’s business travellers and holders of Victoria Gold Cards.

TAP passengers will benefit from an improved service and airport experience at Terminal 2, with more space devoted to passenger choice and leisure.

The shared check-in processes (known as the common solution) developed for Terminal 2 encourages TAP and other Star Alliance airlines to work together as a single team.

As a result passengers receive a faster and smoother journey for a stress-free start to a business or work trip.

For the 2014/2015 winter season TAP will also be strengthening its offering of flights from Heathrow Terminal 2 to Lisbon and Madeira, as of October 26th 2014 offering 45 weekly flights.

As well as offering numerous options for travellers to explore the cosmopolitan city of Lisbon, these flights also offer convenient onward connections from TAP’s Lisbon hub to Africa and North, Central and South America including 12 destinations in Brazil.

In addition to the extensive services from London Heathrow, TAP also flies to Porto and Lisbon from Gatwick and Manchester, increasing convenience for UK travellers looking for a winter break.
