Systems Interface Awarded Second Contract for London Southend Airport

For this second phase of the airport expansion project, Systems Interface will supply two instrument landing systems (ILS), distance measuring equipment (DME), instrument runway visual range (IRVR), including all associated civil works power and communication infrastructure, as well as complete systems design and an integration package.

In addition, Systems Interface will supply and install a complete CAT airfield ground lighting system including all associated civil works, system design and integration.

Alastair Welch, managing director of London Southend Airport, said: “The excellent collaborative performance of Systems Interface during Phase One of the project reassures us of the commitment they will give to Phase Two of this project. We look forward to working with them once again.”
