The train came off the tracks on top of a gully after running into a landslide.

The accident, near Tiefencastel, left one carriage hanging over the edge of the ravine.

Another plunged down before the side of the ravine before lodging behind a tree.

The landslide happened after heavy rain in eastern Switzerland overnight.

There were reportedly 200 people on the train when the accident happened, with injured passengers airlifted to hospital.
