SWISS is set to increase its network out of northern England with the addition of two weekly direct flights from Manchester to Geneva from 20 December 2009. The new scheduled route, now bookable on swiss.com/uk from just £77 return including all taxes and free transportation of snowsport equipment, takes SWISS’s number of weekly flights out of Manchester to 26.

The new direct route to Geneva will be operated by an Avro RJ100 and is set to operate until 11 April 2010. Flights operate on Saturdays and Sundays as follows:

Saturdays

  * OUT: LX367 (from 26 December) leaving Manchester at 17.15 and arriving in Geneva at 20.15
  * BACK: LX366 (from 26 December) leaving Geneva at 15.35 and arriving in Manchester at 16.40

Sundays

  * OUT: LX361 (from 20 December) leaving Manchester 10.00 and arriving in Geneva 13.00
  * BACK: LX360 (from 20 December) leaving Geneva at 08.15 and arriving in Manchester at 09.20

 

As well as offering a direct connection to the city of Geneva itself and all its winter offerings, the new service will afford travellers access to a range of acclaimed ski resorts in the nearby area such as Les Gets, Morzine, Megeve, Chatel, Avoriaz, Chamonix, Villars and Verbier.
