With the quality of in-flight dining as the heart of the concept, Betsy Beer embodies Swire Hotels and Restaurants’ core values of quality taste and exceptional experiences.
The first of its kind, this high-altitude beer fuses science and traditional brewing methods.
It perfectly blends a careful selection of Hong Kong and UK-sourced ingredients, such as “Dragon Eye” fruit and Fuggle, a revered hop and a mainstay of traditional British craft ales, to give the unique characteristic of the beverage with a pleasingly earthy and full-bodied flavour.
While cabin pressure and altitude affects passengers’ taste buds, Betsy Beer is crafted to taste great in the air and on the ground.
It will be available at ground level in Hong Kong and Heathrow in the airline’s lounges as well as in selected Swire-owned restaurants, including Café Gray Deluxe, Sugar (Bar.Deck.Lounge), Mr & Mrs Fox, The Continental, Plat du Jour and Public, for a limited time.
In addition it will be offered on Cathay Pacific flights operating on routes to the UK.
