Swan Hellenic Hosts VIP Agent event at new homeport Portsmouth

In celebration of the recently launched Swan Hellenic winter 2011/12 and summer 2012 agent training modules and to add further support to the agent community, Swan Hellenic invited key agents to visit Minerva in her new homeport of Portsmouth and experience the product offering first hand.

With sales, marketing and trade managers on hand to discuss new initiatives, incentives and product development with agents, the day included a ship tour, a question and answer session and a private lunch.

Edwina Lonsdale, Owner Mundy Cruising commented: “It was a great pleasure to take a look at Minerva in her new homeport, Portsmouth.  She is warm with a low-key country house style, well cared for and very welcoming.  Prices on board are sterling, and excellent value, and of course Swan Hellenic fares include shore excursions and gratuities, so expenditure is entirely discretionary.  Definitely worth a look for a port-intensive destination focussed cruise experience with excellent lectures and after-dinner speakers.”

New agent modules have been launched on dedicated agent training site www.discoverycruisingexpert.com, with a competition to win a weekly case of wine.

The site offers a unique video-based training system that allows agents to learn about Discovery Cruising and why they should be selling it, with detailed information on each of the three leading discovery cruising brands. To celebrate the launch of the updated site, All Discovery Cruising is offering agents and trade partners the chance to enter a weekly draw to win a case of wine until 31 July 2011.  Agents can simply log onto www.discoverycruisingexpert.com, select one of the three discovery cruising brands and complete the new training modules online to be in the running to win.
