Supranational Hotels launch new internet booking engine

Supranational Hotels, the leading provider of hotel distribution technology and sales and marketing representation, has officially launched its new Internet Booking Engine (IBE) after a successful trial period with existing hotel members.

The all-new IBE has been redeveloped to provide a more user-friendly experience. With multi-language rich content and a multi-currency booking tool the IBE links seamlessly with the hotel’s Central Reservation System (CRS) to check rate and inventory in fewer steps providing the end user with a simplified booking process.  The newer, more intuitive IBE supports connections with Google Hotel Finder, meta-search engines such as Trivago and products like TripAdvisor’s Trip Connect to assist hoteliers in driving more direct booking to their own websites.

New functionality specifically for agents and corporate bookers includes personalised private access to a secure micro-site within the IBE, ideal for the management of group bookings.

Benefits to hoteliers include a completely customisable booking engine that visually reflects and protects the integrity of their own brand and style, options to up-sell and add value to bookings through dynamic packaging, promote special offers redeemed with specific rate codes and develop customisable pre- and post-stay emails to stay in touch with their guests.

Cho Wong, Managing Director of Supranational Hotels, comments, “Our IBE has been redeveloped as part of a strategic investment plan to upgrade and advance our existing technology platforms. Investing in this new sophisticated technology supports our reputation for delivering products that strengthen the business opportunity for our members.”

The Baltic Beach Hotel in Jūrmala, Latvia, recently switched their booking engine to Supranational Hotels’ IBE specifically for its Latvian language support, a now mandatory requirement for trading in the country as part of the Government’s bid to protect the national language.

Supranational Hotel’s new IBE was trialled over a six month period and is expected to be utilised by more than 200 hotels within the portfolio by the end of 2015.

Supranational Hotel’s CRS and IBE are powered by Pegasus Solutions.
