Strikes continue to disrupt Calais ferry services DFDS will complete the acquisition of MyFerryLink later in the week

Passengers are again being hit by disruption as port workers stage demonstrations in Calais.

Thousands of travellers are stranded on both sides of the English Channel as workers protest against the acquisition of MyFerryLink by rival DFDS Seaways.

Sailings between Dover and Calais have been suspended.

However, services to Dunkirk are operating as normal.

Strike began on June 23rd and led to the suspension of Channel Tunnel services.

The current strike action is expected to continue until Thursday, when DFDS officially takes over the MyFerryLink service.
