The spa travel website Spas of America today announced the appointment of Kristin Gladfelter Johnson and Mary Blackmon to the growing Spas of America team. Launched in 2005, Spas of America is the fastest-growing Spa & Wellness travel website, showcasing over 750 spas to travel consumers around the world.

An Internet entrepreneur turned spa expert and consumer advocate, Mary has been featured in leading publications, including Women’s Health, Self, the New York Times, Forbes Traveler, Cosmo, O Oprah and Glamour. She has been interviewed on Extra TV, TV Guide, Better TV, Voyage TV and countless news programs, and is well known for her spa expertise and promotion of the spa industry. A trusted advisor, educating consumers on everything from spa health and beauty benefits to spa etiquette, Mary will continue to share her perspective and experiences within the spa industry.

Kristin Gladfelter Johnson brings 16 years of experience in marketing, media and publishing to the Spas of America team in the role of US Relationship Manager. As the former Associate Publisher of SPA Magazine, Kristin is now President of Flourish-a media consulting and marketing firm based in Seattle. Kristin’s extensive travels along with her experience in marketing and online and print publishing will be an invaluable complement to Spas of America’s spa partners across North America.
