Spa at Four Seasons Washington DC introduces Amala, an All Organic Line

The Spa at Four Seasons Washington has earned the reputation for personalized service and its anti-aeging, non-intrusive services. Amala is a perfect addition with its results driven, clinically proven skincare collection that is equally heralded for its purity and environmental integrity.

Founded in the German Alps, its name means “most pure” in Sanskrit. Amala has earned the reputation as the beauty industry’s’ premier plant-powered luxury skincare collection. It is the only luxury skincare brand to have its entire collection certified by NATRUE, the most respected natural and organic cosmetic certification organization.

Rooted in advanced plant chemistry and artisanal craft, Amala works in total synergy with the body, optimizing the skin’s ability to strengthen and repair itself. Its scientific formulations are advanced, highly concentrated and carefully considered custom blends that deliver visible, proven, healthy results for all skin types, at any age.

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Washington is the only spa in DC to exclusively offer two results-oriented Amala facial treatments in addition to its retail products.

Amala Custom Facial – This facial revitalizes, softens and renews the skin’s elasticity through the use of custom distilled organic seed, oils and whole plant ingredients. Tailored for specific skin needs, this treatment is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and peptides to stimulate collagen. Masks are blended with a cocktail of boosters to either hydrate, soothe, firm, brighten or purify the skin. This is available as a 50-minute or 80-minute facial.
Rejuvenation Mini Facial - This facial will restore lasting hydration and elasticity. It protects the skin from free radical damage and diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pore size. This 25-minute facial ideal for all skin types.

In keeping with the Hotel’s environmental efforts, Amala sources its powerful plant actives through longstanding fair trade partnerships with fourteen farms around the world. Amala’s environmental integrity also extends to its packaging by using sustainable outer packaging and materials whenever possible and upgrading to the most environmentally responsible options as they become available.
