The GTMC, the UK’s leading professional industry body representing travel management companies, has welcomed Applehouse Travel as its fourth new member this year. Applehouse Travel, the corporate travel division of the highly successful Southall Travel Group, was launched in 2008 to provide a comprehensive range of travel management services to a wide range of business travel customers. Applehouse is located at Iver, near Heathrow, with a dedicated team of UK based reservation consultants.
Applehouse Travel’s managing director, Kuljinder Bahia said: “I am happy that Applehouse Travel has become a GTMC member. We recognise the skill and expertise within the GTMC, which will provide a significant benefit, not only to us as an organisation but ultimately to our customers.”
GTMC chief executive Paul Wait said: “The Southall Travel Group is a huge success story and their corporate travel division Applehouse Travel is growing fast under the management of Kuljinder Bahia - one of the most respected leaders in the travel industry. I am delighted that the advantages of being a GTMC member are recognized by the company and look forward to seeing them reap the benefits!”
“The GTMC now has a record forty members with the membership truly representing the voice of business travel and travellers in the UK. The industry faces its next phase of change and challenge and the GTMC is well placed with its increasing membership to shape the future and positively contribute toward UK PLC.”
