Sofitel London Gatwick appoints Globy Ouseph as general manager

Sofitel London Gatwick has appointed Globy Ouseph as general manager of the 518 bedroom hotel, the only premium hotel directly linked to the North Terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport.

With over 12 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, Ouseph joins Sofitel London Gatwick, managed and operated by Arora Hotels, from his most recent positon as hotel manager at the 605-room Sofitel London Heathrow, also part of the Arora Group.

He joined Sofitel London Heathrow in 2013 as food and beverage manager and will start his new role on May 30th.

Prior to working for Arora Hotels, Ouseph worked at The Hilton Waldorf in central London for over ten years, progressing from his management trainee position to hotel operations manager.

Ouseph said of his appointment: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity as general manager of the prestigious Sofitel London Gatwick, to maintain its position as the only premium and luxury hotel experience at the airport with direct three-minute access straight into the terminal.

“It’s a busy, stylish hotel with fantastic facilities for the local market as well as a true 24/7 service for international travellers in and out of London.

“With some newly refurbished spaces and more partnerships now in place at the airport, we’re looking forward to a great year ahead.”
