‘Soap Cruise’ returns to Celebrity Century

Fans of Celebrity Cruises and of soap opera stars have the rare opportunity to spend four days with their favorite actors at sea, when Celebrity Century again hosts “Soap Cruise” in 2010.

Soap Cruise - the third voyage of its kind - is a special offering that pairs Celebrity’s exceptional service with exclusive activities allowing guests who have purchased the Soap Cruise package the opportunity to directly interact with 20 of the hottest actors on several of daytime TV’s most popular shows.

Among the activities that Soap Cruise organizers have arranged exclusively for Soap Cruise guests will be autograph and photo sessions, soap opera trivia games, an elite beach party with the stars, and other special events allowing guests to mingle with their favorite actors. Fans of Guiding Light - the show that shined for 72 years - will have the opportunity to meet top actors from the landmark show, including Kim Zimmer (“Reva”), Robert Newman (“Josh”) and Jeff Branson (“Shayne”).

Hosting Soap Cruise will be Cameron Mathison, who plays “Ryan” on All My Children and has appeared on Dancing with the Stars. Joining him on Celebrity Century will be fellow All My Children actors Jacob Young (“J.R.”) and Vincent Irizarry (“David”); Austin Peck (“Brad”) and Julie Pinson (“Janet”) from As the World Turns; Brandon Beemer (“Owen”), Don Diamont (“Bill”) and Winsor Harmon (“Thorne”) of The Bold and the Beautiful; Nadia Bjorlin (“Chloe”), Drake Hogestyn (“John”) and James Scott (“E.J.”) of Days of Our Lives; Bradford Anderson (“Spinelli”) and Laura Wright (“Carly”) from General Hospital; Jeff Branson (“Shayne”), Robert Newman (“Josh)” and Kim Zimmer (“Reva”) of Guiding Light; Bree Williamson (“Jessica”) and John Brotherton (“Jared”) on One Life to Live; and Daniel Goddard (“Cane”) and Christian LeBlanc (“Michael”) of The Young and the Restless.

The stars will mix it up exclusively with guests who have booked the Soap Cruise package on Celebrity Century’s January 28 itinerary departing roundtrip from Miami, with visits to Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico. But, “like sand in the hourglass,” time is running out for booking the opportunity. A limited number of staterooms remain for guests interested in experiencing Soap Cruise. For reservations, visit www.soapcruise.com, or call 888-381-4654. Bookings on Celebrity Century’s January 28 itinerary through other avenues will not include access to Soap Cruise activities.
