29th Jan 2015

Manchester Airport has been forced to suspend flights as snow covers the north-west of England.

All flights are expected to resume today, with passengers advised to travel to the airport as normal.

Parts of Yorkshire, Derbyshire and the north-east have been hit by freezing temperatures overnight.

Snowploughs are clearing the runway, with passengers advised to check the official website for more information on when services are likely to resume.
