Kew Gardens, which can be reached in under a minute by car and just 15 minutes on foot from the Chiswick Moran Hotel, is one of London’s most popular attractions. Families can explore glasshouses, climb to the treetops or delve into rainforest and, until 5 September 2010, Kew is running a summer festival to celebrate the UN’s International Year of Biodiversity.  Visitors are being invited to delve into the hidden world of plant pollination and discover how plants work together with animals and insects to sustain life.
