Singapore’s ION Sky opens to the public

ION Sky, located on the top floor of the ION Orchard building, is now open to the public.

The viewing gallery offers 360° panoramic views of the city with an unobstructed view stretching from Singapore’s business district against the waterfront, to as far up North as the eye can see.

Located on levels 55 and 56 of The Orchard Residences at an impressive 218 metres and spreading over two levels comprising an observatory, event space, and F&B space, ION Sky is the highest point on Orchard Road.

From this vantage point, visitors can take in scenic views through the lens of Behold eScope while zooming in to specific landmarks in Singapore with a simple touch on the touch-screen display. The interactive telescope is an augmented reality device that not only allows visitors to view the surrounding landscape in real-time but also uses state-of-the-art technology to bring the heritage of the areas to life.

Visitors can also head to Salt Grill at level 55 for gastronomic gratification by Australian restaurateur and chef export Luke Mangan, or follow the ramp leading up to ION Sky bar to enjoy drinks as they take in the views from the 56th floor.
