Shearings is continuing to expand its offering in the cruising sector with the launch of its new sea cruise brochure.

The sea cruise brochure, created in partnership with All Leisure Group’s Voyages of Discovery, will feature 23 itineraries on board the MV Discovery, with a mix of ex-Harwich and fly-cruises including Scandinavia, the Northern Waters, the Mediterranean or the Black Sea.

 

The expansion into sea cruising follows the company’s success in river cruises, with sales up 18% year on year.

 

Product development manager for Shearings, Patricia Birmingham, said: “Our vision for Shearings is to be the leading provider of escorted tours in UK, Europe and cruise.

 

“We’ve expanded our offering for all our 2010 programmes and now have our biggest ever collection of sea cruises which is why we have launched a dedicated brochure.

 

“This will help agents broaden their offering to our very loyal customer base as well as helping us reach out to a wider audience of holidaymakers who may not have previously considered a Shearings holiday.”

 

Prices start at £749 for an eight-day no fly Norwegian Fjords cruise departing from Harwich, including coach transfers.

 

Shearings’ no-fly cruises include a free transfer service to and from Harwich port from locations across the country, as well as the opportunity to book a ‘Home Connect’ service for added convenience.

 

The new brochure follows the launch of three new 2010 brochures including 30 new UK tours, 12 new European itineraries and 34 river cruise holidays across 14 ships.
