Seychelles Tourism Board meets with Ethiopian Airlines at WTM in London

Ethiopian Airlines is launching flights to the tourism islands of the Seychelles starting from November 15. The new Ethiopian flights will be connecting the Seychelles to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and on to the world four times a week.

The Seychelles delegation and that from Ethiopian Airlines discussed the first flights to the Seychelles, the marketing strategy that could be developed to ensure visibility of the airline as a carrier with flights to Seychelles, and the future approach in cooperation between the Seychelles Tourism Board and Ethiopian Airlines.

“The Seychelles Tourism Board values all its partners, and we needed to make time to meet with Ethiopian Airlines, the latest airline to introduce a regular flight service to Seychelles. It was important for the Tourism Board to hear the plans of Ethiopian Airlines and see with them how the island’s Tourism Board could stand behind them in their drive to increase their bookings on flights to Seychelles,” Alain St.Ange said.

Ethiopian Airlines is one of the main airlines of Africa, with a determination that Africa must work with Africa. They have now included Seychelles in their long list of African destinations they link to the world.
