Seychelles Festival of the Sea forges valuable new partnerships
Four high-profile magazines are set to become official partners of “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea, the well-established Seychelles event which has been an annual event in Seychelles since 1989.
The four magazines of the Asian Geo group: Asian Geographic, Asian Passport, Asian Diver, and Scuba Diver are all set to become official partners of “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea, as well as official publications of the event.
Now, all four publication logos will appear on all “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea posters and adverts and will be prominent in all marketing campaigns. The new partnership will involve free adverts in all four magazines prior to “SUBIOS”, The Seychelles Festival of the Sea 2011; and pre- and post-coverage of the event in the group’s e-newsletter, which boasts a database of 568,000 readers. “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea will also appear on the group’s website. ADEX will see the launch of Asian Geo as an official partner of “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea, which will also have the opportunity to make a presentation at the fair. Furthermore, ADEX will see the distribution of “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea packs in its 5,000 goody bags with an option to include other Seychelles’ brochures.
Prizes to be given out for “SUBIOS,” The Seychelles Festival of the Sea include:
- 6 professional DIVEAS professional divers’ watches, retailing at US$2,000 each
- Either Cannon or Olympus cameras with sponsorship through Asian GEO
- “Vanguard” travel accessories, also sponsored through Asian Geo
- Branded diving gear

Winners of the competitions will receive coverage in the above publications and will also have the opportunity of displaying their photos/videos at the upcoming, annual “Images of Asia” photo competition.
