Seychelles and South Africa build momentum for increased cooperation
Seychelles President James Michel and South Africa President Jacob Zuma held bilateral discussions at Ephelia Resort, Port Launay, on Mahé Island.
The two leaders met in a tête-à-tête before joining the talks on the crisis in Madagascar.
“Our discussions at Port Launay have strengthened the already excellent relations between Seychelles and South Africa. We will work together to build new programs for bilateral cooperation, as well as continuing to work together in matters relating to regional cooperation such as SADC,” said President Michel following the meeting.
Mr. Michel and Mr. Zuma also discussed the development of youth programs in both countries and exchanged views on a variety of regional and international issues.
