The Seychelles delegation at the 19th session of the UNWTO General Assembly was comprised of Alain St.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board; Sharen Venus, the Board’s Senior Marketing Executive; and Julie Kim, the Manager of the Seychelles Tourism Board’s Korea Office.

The Seychelles delegation left Korea satisfied with their participation and with a positive feeling about the UNWTO’s General Assembly. “We participated in many meetings in the sidelines of the plenary sessions, and we developed new contacts. We met colleagues and renewed old acquaintances,” said Alain St.Ange.

Tourism remains a people’s industry and the UNWTO General Assembly was an opportunity for leaders in the tourism industry to meet and discuss together the way forward for this volatile industry.
