Baron began his winemaking career in the vineyards of Sonoma County before traveling to France and working for legendary Chateau Petrus – an experience that shaped his approach to making wine. In 1982, he returned to Napa Valley and became the winemaker for Silver Oak’s celebrated wines. Baron will lecture on Silver Oak wines and conduct a wine tasting during the sailing.
