Travelport, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, today announces a long-term agreement with Satena – Inter-Administrative Unit, the state-run airline of Colombia. With this alliance, Travelport emerges as the travel technology partner for Satena’s inter-administrative travel agency entity, enabling access to global airline content through Travelport’s Galileo GDS platform.

“As one of the airline and travel industry leaders, Satena recognizes the highly beneficial value of airline, hotel and car rental content, and Travelport’s other additional services, as well as its strong global presence,” said Colonel Miguel Gonzalez, President of Satena.

On the part of Travelport, Scott Hyden, Managing Director of the Americas, affirmed: “We are especially happy to be able to provide the entities and officials attended by Satena at the state level with the complete content of Travelport’s Galileo GDS.”
