SATA launches outdoor advertising campaign

SATA International aims to kick start its new season of direct flights to the Azores by investing in a large scale outdoor advertising campaign across London’s elite Underground stations to entice nature lovers to the stunning archipelago.

After a highly successful campaign last year, SATA’s visual adverts again highlight the Azores’ unparalleled natural beauty.  The outdoor campaign will be featured in 25 stations, including Victoria and Liverpool Street, and focuses on some of the key activities that visitors to the Azores can enjoy such as whale watching off one of the Azores’ nine islands or taking advantage of the Island’s volcanic origins through an array of outdoor activities including scuba diving, cycling and tubing.

SATA International offers weekly direct flights to the Azores during the summer season and will be operating every Saturday until mid October 2013, with early afternoon departures from London Gatwick to Ponta Delgada in Sao Miguel, the largest of the Azorean Islands. The direct flights takes under four hours and start from £336 per person. Price includes taxes and charges, an inflight meal and a generous baggage allowance for travel before the end of the summer season. New for the 2013 summer season the price also includes free dive equipment less than 15kg to compliment SATA’s existing free golf club policy.
